Who We Are

Talati & Talati LLP, a Chartered Accountancy firm, commenced its journey from Ahmedabad in February 1976. With a team of more than 400 associates, including 20 partners, our firm is omnipresent in the western region. Our inspiration and roots derive from one of the most distinguished professionals having a multitude personality – Late CA .H. M. Talati.

Under the leadership of our founder CA. Sunil Talati we set to match the highest ethical standards, values, and discipline as fostered in the organisation, We have established ourselves as a niche boutique firm with its presence across all the metro cities of India with a head office at Ahmedabad.

Our Golden History

1949

The Inspiration

With CA H. M. Talati becoming a Chartered Accountant, he paved way for all us to walk his chosen path. His vision, his methods inspires us to work towards provide most effecient services to our clients.

1976

The Foundation

CA. Sunil Talati laid foundation of Talati & Talati Chartered Accountants in a small office at Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. The humble begining established a pillar of trust amoung our clients and led the emergence of a new era.

1978

The Expansion

In just two years of inception, CA. Sunil Talati forayed into a partnership with CA. Surendra Parikh. This led to the geographical expansion under the partnership firm Parikh & Talati Chartered Accountants and adding Vadodara as its office.

1983

The Carved Letters

The year CA. Umesh Talati got his Certificate of Practice, he joined the firm as the new partner and adding strength to team and the brand of Talati & Talati, Chartered Accountants.

1985

Recgional Council

CA. Sunil Talati was elected as a member of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), which is the governing and regulating body for chartered accountants in India.

1988

CAA Ahmedabad

Chartered Accountants’ Association Ahmedabad (CAA) elects CA. Sunil Talati as its President. It is a voluntary organization established to equip Chartered Accountants in order to discharge their obligations towards the advancement of trade, commerce and industry for the benefit of the entire community.

1999

Central Council

CA. Sunil Talati was elected as the only member from Gujarat to the Central Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Later he Served in major Standing Committees i.e. Examination Committee, Executive Committee and Disciplinary Committee and in all non – standing Committees, i.e. 24 different Committees constituted

2004

The Union

The firm Parikh & Talati was reconstituted and all partners led by CA. Surendra Parikh joined Talati & Talati, Chartered Accountants as partners. The firm garnered an increasing number of clients, and their involvement in services like Accounting, Taxation and Auditing continued to grow.

2007

The Diamond City

CA. Ajay Thakkar joins the firm as a Partner and thus begins the journey of executive operations of the firm in Surat.

2008

Presidentship

CA. Sunil Talati was elected as the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It was first time and only in the history of the ICAI that a CA from Gujarat is elected as the President.

2008

The Complete Circle

CA. Anand Sharma & CA. Rajesh Somani, both started their journey with the firm as Article Assitants, then worked as Associates till they gained their position as Partners in the firm.

2009

The New Era

After learning new business avenues and exploring the skills with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, CA Aniket Talati, the third generation of the Talati family was inducted as a Partner in the firm.

2010

The Capital

With new milestones being set every day, Talati & Talati, Chartered Accountants expanded their operations in New Delhi, the capital city and Mumbai, the financial capital of the country.

2014

Youngest Chairman

CA. Aniket Talati became the youngest ever chairman of Ahmedabad Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for year 2014-15

2017

The Gateway to Kerala

In view to serve the clients businesses in the Southern India, the firm added port town Kochi as its 5th branch office.

2019

The Identity

The firm till now enacted as a Partnership was now converted to Limited Liability Partnership, thus came the new identity – Talati & Talati LLP, Chartered Accountants.

2019

New Partners

CA. Amit Shah, CA. Jatin Keshariya and CA. Kushal Talati were inducted as the newest Partners in the firm giving a strength to its Ahmedabad Office.

2019

Council Member

CA. Aniket Talati, one of our Partners was elected as Central Council Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the term 2019-22.

2022

2nd Youngest Vice-President

CA Aniket Talati became 2nd youngest Vice-President of the ICAI.

2023

Like Father, Like Son

CA Aniket Talati became the president of the ICAI, following in the footsteps of his father.
